Why Volunteer With IRCO?

At IRCO, our volunteers are considered part of our family, our greatest advocates, and crucial to our mission. Our volunteers provide essential skills and knowledge to fulfill our mission, meaning your time can have a real impact on people’s lives. Volunteering with IRCO can also provide a transformative opportunity to be part of a diverse group and gain exposure to different areas of social services.

There are a wide variety of volunteer opportunities ranging from one-time to ongoing across most of our programs and with IRCO Events. If you’re interested in a position, simply fill out the application and our Volunteer Team will get in touch with next steps!

Please note: Some volunteer positions require a background check and other requirements to ensure the safety of our clients and each volunteer. Check the volunteer description to make sure that this is the right fit for you and make sure to read our Volunteer Agreement before applying.

Tadao K

Furniture & Supply Mover volunteer with Fundraising department

While efficiently navigating furniture pick ups, he made me feel like I was a hero saving the day. I could never doubt how much my help was appreciated.

Olga R

Interpreter/Translator volunteer with the Slavic & Eastern European Center

I loved interpreting and transcribing a video project where over a hundred of Ukrainian refugees tell their war story and how IRCO helped them overcome their predicament. I was very touched and moved by these stories and was very happy to witness how IRCO was making a real difference.

Lan W.

IRCO Tax Support Clinic

Through meeting and interacting with customers, I experience the richness and diversity in life. It's been a joy to help people and to see them leave happily after fulfilling their annual tax obligations with the help of a team of volunteers.
