Notice extra coats and sweaters taking up your closet space? Bring in your gently used or new warm winter coats and sweaters for IRCO clients in need. We currently have two groups in immediate need of Winter wear:
Group One | Each Winter a number of our clients are able to secure some Winter-time jobs working up in Alaska in the fishing industry through our employment services. Alaska is a cold place and the clients going don’t have access to winter coats & sweaters.
Group Two | Our INSPIRE Kids are going on a Winter field trip with their mentors in December and many of them do not have coats to keep them warm. In addition to the Mt. Hood trip, the coats will be used for the rest of the year to keep these kids warm, cozy and healthy through the cold Portland Winter.
Please drop off your clean, gently used or new coats for adults and children at our Main Office location (10301 NE Glisan St.). Deadline for donating adults coats is December 3rd, deadline for kids coats is December 15th.
